About the Role
You'll work directly with individuals recovering from injury, illness, or disability, leveraging your clinical expertise to guide them toward reclaiming the skills and independence they need. This is hands-on rehabilitation work where your treatment plans and therapeutic guidance make a visible, measurable difference in clients' outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Perform comprehensive evaluations of clients' physical, cognitive, and functional capacities
- Develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans addressing mobility, self-care, and daily living skills
- Deliver therapeutic interventions including adaptive training, exercises, and equipment fitting
- Track progress through objective documentation and adjust treatment strategies as clients advance
- Coach clients in vocational skills and community reintegration to support sustainable independence
- Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team including physicians, physical therapists, and case managers
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and current NBCOT certification
- Active Florida occupational therapy license
- Clinical experience in rehabilitation or related practice settings
- Ability to build trust, communicate clearly, and motivate clients through recovery
- Strong documentation and clinical reasoning skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional growth
