About the Role
As an Outside Sales Representative in Midland, you'll develop and manage a territory of automotive repair shops, fleet operators, and independent mechanics who depend on quality remanufactured engines and transmissions. You'll be the face of JASPER in your region, building lasting partnerships and identifying opportunities to grow customer accounts.
What You'll Do
- Conduct face-to-face sales calls with established and prospective customers throughout the Midland area
- Present JASPER's remanufactured engine and transmission solutions to meet customer needs and competitive specifications
- Manage customer accounts, coordinate orders, and ensure timely delivery and satisfaction
- Maintain detailed records of sales activity, customer interactions, and territory performance
- Respond to technical inquiries and collaborate with our technical team to resolve customer concerns
- Contribute to territory growth through relationship-building, networking, and identifying new business opportunities
What We're Looking For
- Proven outside sales experience, ideally in automotive parts, mechanical products, or industrial supplies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted customer relationships
- Self-directed work style with excellent time management and organizational ability
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local territory coverage
- Familiarity with engines, transmissions, or automotive repair is a plus
- Proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office
- Positive attitude, work ethic, and commitment to customer service excellence
