About the Role
As an OTR Class A CDL Driver – Food Grade Tanker with LCL Bulk in Marion, Marion County, you'll transport food-grade commodities such as chocolate, sweeteners, and edible oils across long-haul routes. This is a full-time, over-the-road position built for professional drivers who take pride in safe, reliable delivery and want steady miles with modern equipment behind them.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A tanker safely over the road while hauling food-grade products to manufacturing customers nationwide.
- Load, secure, and unload bulk liquid and food-grade freight in line with sanitation and safety standards.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, logs, and required documentation accurately.
- Plan routes and maintain on-time delivery while complying with DOT and federal hours-of-service regulations.
- Maintain clean, well-kept equipment and report maintenance needs promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- Experience in over-the-road (OTR) driving, with tanker or food-grade hauling preferred.
- Willingness to be out on multi-day OTR runs as part of a long-haul schedule.
- Strong safety record and commitment to DOT compliance.
- Professional, dependable attitude and solid communication skills.
