Position Summary

Eye Care Partners, a leading provider of clinically integrated eye care in New Zealand (nationwide) (nationwide), is seeking a dedicated Optometric Technician to join our team. This full-time role will be based in New Zealand (nationwide) (nationwide) and will contribute significantly to the mission of enhancing vision, advancing eye care, and improving lives.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Assist optometrists with patient examinations and treatments
• Prepare patients for eye exams by explaining procedures and answering questions
• Help maintain a clean and organized office environment
• Process insurance claims and manage patient records
• Support the overall operations of the practice, including scheduling appointments and handling paperwork

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in ophthalmic technology preferred
• Strong communication skills to interact with patients effectively
• Attention to detail for accurate record keeping and patient care
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Prior experience as an Optometric Technician or similar role is advantageous but not required
• A passion for eye care and a commitment to providing exceptional service to patients
