The Opportunity
Hynds is seeking a dedicated QA Technician to join our team at the Pokeno manufacturing site in New Zealand (nationwide) (nationwide). As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will be responsible for ensuring that all precast concrete and concrete pipe products meet the highest quality standards, safeguarding our S-Mark certification and upholding our reputation as a trusted provider of infrastructure solutions.
What You'll Do
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests on precast concrete and concrete pipe products to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Create detailed quality reports documenting findings, issues, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Maintain accurate records of all quality control activities.
Skills & Qualifications
- A background in civil engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in quality assurance or inspection roles within the manufacturing industry is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
