About the Role
As an ORSA-focused analyst, you'll design and execute sophisticated modeling initiatives that directly inform personnel security vetting, industrial security protocols, and counterintelligence decision-making. Your analytical work will drive process improvements and operational efficiency across mission-critical functions.
What You'll Do
- Develop and validate queueing models to optimize personnel processing workflows
- Build discrete-event simulation systems that forecast operational capacity and identify bottlenecks
- Conduct statistical analysis and hypothesis testing on complex datasets
- Create predictive models to support security clearance and vetting operations
- Translate simulation results into actionable recommendations for stakeholders
- Collaborate with Federal Agency leadership to define modeling requirements and scope
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field
- Demonstrated proficiency in modeling, simulation, or statistical analysis software (ARENA, AnyLogic, R, Python, SAS, or similar)
- Strong foundation in discrete-event simulation and queueing theory
- Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical audiences
- Experience in Federal Government operations, security, or defense contracting preferred
- Active or eligible for Secret security clearance
