About the Role
As an OSINT Analyst on the Data Effects Cell (DEC), you will be a core analytical voice within SMX's support to U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) and its partnered units operating across the Tactical Mission Network (TMN) environment. Your work centers on producing intelligence that is timely, accurate, and directly tied to operational needs—translating publicly available information into products commanders can act on.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver open-source intelligence (OSINT) products that inform USASOC and supported partner units.
- Serve as a leading analytical contributor within the Data Effects Cell (DEC), shaping the cell's collective assessments.
- Operate within the Tactical Mission Network (TMN) to ensure intelligence reaches the right audiences when it is needed.
- Prioritize accuracy, relevance, and operational timeliness across every deliverable.
Qualifications
- Proven, hands-on experience performing Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) analysis.
- Ability to generate clear, decision-ready intelligence products under operational tempo.
- Familiarity supporting military or special operations customers and working within mission-network environments such as the TMN.
- Strong analytical judgment and the discipline to validate sourcing before reporting.
