About the Role

This is the kind of position where your daily efforts truly matter. As a Therapeutic Behavioral Aide, you will work directly with at-risk children and adolescents, helping them build the skills, stability, and confidence they need to thrive at home, in school, and within their communities. Through Pinnacle Family Services, part of the HEALTH CONNECT AMERICA family, you'll support young people who have faced trauma and adversity, delivering hands-on, evidence-based behavioral health care in an on-site capacity. This role is not remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one therapeutic support to children and youth experiencing behavioral and emotional challenges.
• Implement individualized treatment and behavior plans developed by clinical staff.
• Help young people practice coping strategies, social skills, and positive behaviors in everyday settings.
• Document progress, observations, and incidents accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate closely with families, therapists, and the broader care team to support consistent, trauma-informed care.
• Promote a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment for every child served.

Qualifications

• A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for at-risk children and families.
• Strong interpersonal, patience, and communication skills.
• Ability to follow structured behavioral plans and respond calmly in challenging situations.
• Willingness to work on-site in Mountain View, Catawba County.
• Reliability, sound judgment, and a team-oriented mindset.
