About the Role

As an On the Road Service Technician, you'll deliver expert diagnostics, maintenance, and repair services directly to customers and equipment dealers across our service territory. Working with industry-leading John Deere technology, you'll solve complex equipment challenges independently while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship and customer care. You'll also mentor and develop junior technicians, sharing your expertise to strengthen our team.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair agricultural and turf equipment at customer locations and dealer facilities
• Perform routine maintenance and complex troubleshooting on John Deere and compatible equipment
• Document service work accurately and communicate findings clearly to customers and management
• Mentor Service Technician Trainees and support other technicians in developing their skills
• Collaborate with the Service Manager and Shop Foreman on complex jobs requiring additional guidance
• Maintain a professional appearance and practice safe work habits in all field environments

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience diagnosing and repairing agricultural or construction equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently while accepting guidance when needed
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and work in varying outdoor conditions
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Willingness to mentor and train junior technicians
