What You'll Do

• Deliver dynamic, standards-aligned music instruction across general music, instrumental, or vocal offerings
• Plan and execute engaging lessons that accommodate diverse learning styles and skill levels
• Direct student performances, concerts, and musical ensembles throughout the school year
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support musical growth
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to integrate music into school culture and special events
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and artistic risk-taking
• Attend professional development sessions designed to strengthen teaching practice and leadership skills

What We're Looking For

• Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification in Music or willingness to pursue it
• Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field
• Strong understanding of music theory, history, and pedagogical best practices
• Experience teaching middle school students preferred
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Commitment to student-centered instruction and continuous professional growth
• Ability to work collaboratively within a mission-driven school community
