Acacium Group is seeking a compassionate, clinically skilled Nurse Advisor to join its lung health nursing team and help deliver proactive, patient-centred respiratory care across the United States. About the Role
As a Nurse Advisor with Acacium Group, you will take ownership of important stages along the patient pathway, partnering closely with the Clinical Services Manager to keep the service safe, effective, and well-led. Working alongside hospital and community colleagues, you will guide patients and their families through their care journey while supporting the delivery of the Targeted Lung Health Check Programme in line with national standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Lung Health Checks by telephone, following standard operating procedures, including risk scoring and confirming eligibility.
- Provide brief smoking cessation support and connect patients with the right onward services.
- Serve as a trusted contact for patients and carers, offering clinical advice, reassurance, and education.
- Evaluate each patient's clinical and psychosocial needs to encourage shared decision-making.
- Deliver high-quality nursing care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational colleagues to meet service goals and maintain strong data quality.
Qualifications
- A valid nursing registration at the equivalent of NMC band 6 level.
- Hands-on experience supporting patients with respiratory conditions.
- Familiarity with respiratory nursing standards and relevant performance indicators.
- Excellent planning and organisational abilities, ideally with a background in coaching or health promotion.
