- Identify root causes of breakdowns using test instruments and implement lasting corrective actions
- Replace components, rewire circuits and commission new equipment safely and efficiently
- Complete accurate digital or paper job records after every visit and escalate complex problems promptly
- Follow all health and safety procedures when working alone and maintain a professional on-site presence
Qualifications
- City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in electrical installation or maintenance engineering
- Current 18th Edition wiring regulations certificate
- Demonstrable experience in a mobile or multi-site electrical maintenance environment
- Full UK driving licence and confidence driving across the Kent area daily
- Strong knowledge of commercial and light industrial electrical systems plus effective fault-finding ability
- Capability to organise daily routes, prioritise urgent call-outs and work with minimal supervision
