Medical Assistant – Newton, MA ($25/hr.)

Pacer Group is hiring Medical Assistants for a full-time position in Newton, MA, specifically in the Newton Lower Falls area of Middlesex County. This is a 13-week contract role with the potential for extension, offering competitive pay and hands-on clinical experience.

About the Role

Join Pacer Group as a Medical Assistant and play a vital part in supporting patient care at our Newton Lower Falls facility. This position operates on a full-time, 5-days-per-week schedule with day shift hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Over the course of your 13-week assignment, you'll develop skills in a fast-paced clinical environment while building professional relationships and gaining experience in healthcare support.

What You'll Do

• Conduct patient intake interviews and maintain accurate medical records
• Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight
• Prepare examination rooms and patients for clinical procedures
• Assist healthcare providers during patient visits and treatments
• Input and update patient information in electronic health records (EHR)
• Support general clinic operations and patient flow

What We're Looking For

• Valid Medical Assistant certification or state licensure (if required in Massachusetts)
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a clinical setting
• Proficiency with electronic medical records systems
• Reliability and a commitment to punctuality for the 8:00 AM start time

Compensation & Schedule

Competitive compensation package with weekly gross pay ranging from $1,000 to $1,180 per week, depending on experience and qualifications. A $200 completion bonus is available upon contract fulfillment. Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
