Heritage Manor Bossier is hiring a full-time Maintenance Director to lead skilled maintenance operations at our Bossier City facility in Bossier Parish. This position oversees the upkeep and safety of our property through hands-on technical expertise and strategic facility management.
What This Role Involves
As the Maintenance Director for Heritage Manor Bossier, you'll take ownership of all technical building systems and grounds. Your work spans multiple trades—from carpentry and painting to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems—ensuring every component functions reliably. You'll keep our Bossier City location operating safely and cleanly, managing both routine maintenance schedules and urgent repairs to maintain continuous facility availability.
Core Duties
- Perform and oversee carpentry work, from structural repairs to fixture installation
- Handle painting projects including interior, exterior, and specialty finishes
- Execute plumbing maintenance, repairs, and installations throughout the facility
- Manage electrical systems, troubleshooting issues and performing updates safely
- Service heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to maintain comfortable temperatures year-round
- Inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs before they become problems
- Keep detailed maintenance records and coordinate scheduling
- Respond promptly to urgent facility issues to minimize downtime
