M&A Intern (m/w/d) München

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential boutique investment bank in Munich seeking a motivated M&A Intern to join their team starting October 2027 for a minimum of 3 to 6 months. In this role, you will:

• Support the preparation of pitch presentations, teasers, and information memoranda
• Identify potential investors and target companies to build long lists and short lists
• Conduct industry, company, and competitive analyses along with broader research activities
• Assist in developing integrated financial models and company valuations
• Support investor communication throughout the M&A process and contribute to due diligence activities

What We're Looking For

Our client is seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Currently studying economics, business, or a related field—or simply passionate about M&A and investment banking
• Strong work ethic, team orientation, and solid understanding of business models and economic relationships
• Excellent analytical, conceptual, and communication skills with genuine team spirit
• Quick learner able to rapidly absorb new topics and complex questions
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications
• Very strong German and English skills (minimum C1 level each); additional languages are a plus
• Available for at least 3 to 6 months starting October 2027
