Chemielaborant (w/m/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential deep-science startup in Berlin that is working on innovative volumetric 3D printing technology. Our client is seeking a Chemical Laboratory Technician (Chemielaborant) to join their research team and contribute to groundbreaking work in additive manufacturing.

In this role, you will:

• Develop chemical formulations for an advanced volumetric 3D printing process
• Synthesize photoinitiators and other specialized compounds
• Characterize end products and intermediate stages using standard analytical methods
• Document all experimental procedures and results
• Organize and manage a synthesis laboratory
• Order chemicals and laboratory materials

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Completed vocational training as a Chemielaborant, Chemisch-Technischer Assistent, or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in organic synthesis
• Knowledge of standard chemical analytical methods (NMR, LC-MS, UV/vis)
• Structured working style with ability to work independently
• Team player comfortable collaborating across disciplines (chemistry, physics, engineering)
• Basic English language skills
• Availability for full-time work (40 hours/week) in Berlin
• Flexibility for potential laboratory relocations within Berlin as the organization grows

Preferred experience:

• Hands-on experience with HPLC
• Experience evaluating NMR spectra
• Literature research for synthesis protocols
• Comfort working in an international environment
