Luthier – Guitar Center

About the Role

As a Luthier at Guitar Center, you'll be the expert our customers trust with their most prized instruments. Your expertise in instrument setup, repair, and restoration will directly enhance our customers' playing experience and keep them coming back.

What You'll Do

• Perform professional repairs, maintenance, and restoration on guitars and other stringed instruments
• Set up instruments to precise specifications, ensuring optimal playability and tone
• Diagnose instrument issues and recommend appropriate solutions to customers
• Work with customers to understand their instrument needs and preferences
• Maintain detailed records of all repair work and instrument assessments
• Ensure all work meets Guitar Center's quality standards and customer expectations

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated expertise in guitar repair, setup, and restoration
• Proficiency with luthier tools and equipment
• Strong understanding of instrument construction, materials, and acoustics
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
