LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse – Home Health – Part-Time

Join BrightSpring Health Services as a Licensed Practical Nurse delivering direct patient care in the Providence area. This is a part-time home health position where you'll visit patients in their residences, provide skilled nursing care, and make a measurable difference in their recovery and quality of life.

About the Role

As an LPN with BrightSpring's home health division, you'll work in patients' homes throughout Providence and Providence County, conducting health assessments, administering medications, managing wound care, and coordinating with the broader clinical team. This role offers the flexibility of part-time scheduling with the clinical autonomy many nurses seek in home-based settings.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and vital sign monitoring in home environments
• Administer medications and intravenous therapies according to physician orders
• Manage wound care, dressing changes, and post-operative recovery support
• Document patient progress and communicate clinical updates to supervising RNs and physicians
• Educate patients and family members on medication management and self-care
• Maintain infection control standards and patient confidentiality in all interactions

What We're Looking For

• Current Rhode Island LPN license in active good standing
• Minimum one year clinical nursing experience (home health experience preferred)
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license for traveling between patient homes
• Strong communication and time management abilities in independent work settings
• Compassionate approach to patient care with flexibility and clinical judgment
