Locums Position in California for Pediatric Radiologist

CompHealth is recruiting a board-certified pediatric radiologist for a full-time locums position in North Highlands, Sacramento County, California. About the Role

As a pediatric radiologist in this locums position, you will interpret diagnostic imaging studies in pediatric patients, including X-rays, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and other specialized imaging modalities. You'll work collaboratively with referring physicians and clinical teams to deliver accurate diagnoses and support optimal patient care outcomes. This role offers the chance to work independently or as part of a department, depending on facility structure and your preferences.

What You'll Do

• Interpret and report on pediatric imaging studies across multiple modalities
• Communicate findings clearly to referring physicians and clinical staff
• Maintain comprehensive medical records and documentation in compliance with standards
• Participate in quality assurance and peer review activities
• Stay current with advances in pediatric radiology and imaging best practices
• Work within established protocols while adapting to facility-specific workflows

What We're Looking For

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with pediatric radiology board certification or eligibility
• Current, unrestricted medical license in California or ability to obtain one
• DEA registration
• Professional experience in pediatric imaging and patient care
• Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in diverse healthcare settings
