About This Position

HiredFirst is currently seeking a local contract Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Santa Rosa, California. The role involves working full-time, 40 hours per week, with an 8-hour shift schedule.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient needs to develop treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic activities that improve patients' physical function and independence
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care for patients
• Document patient progress and communicate findings to healthcare providers
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

Skills & Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Aptitude for developing and implementing therapeutic interventions
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Prioritization and organization skills to manage multiple patient cases efficiently
