About This Position

This is a 13-week travel commitment for a California-licensed Physical Therapy Assistant focused on outpatient orthopedic cases. You will work 40 hours each week on an 8-hour day shift schedule running Monday through Friday. The position centers on supporting orthopedic therapy needs within Santa Clara, Santa Clara County while earning $2,180 per week. Medlivo Therapy seeks candidates who hold active CA PTA credentials and bring hands-on outpatient orthopedic experience to serve the community effectively.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Carry out assigned treatment plans under licensed physical therapist direction, helping patients perform therapeutic exercises and functional activities that address outpatient orthopedic concerns.
• Apply approved modalities, assist with gait training, and guide mobility practice during each scheduled session to promote steady progress.
• Record accurate session notes, track patient responses, and share clear updates with the supervising therapist so care plans stay current.
• Educate individuals and families on home exercise programs and safe movement strategies that extend therapy gains beyond the clinic.
• Maintain a clean, organized treatment area and prepare equipment for each 8-hour day to keep the outpatient flow smooth and efficient.
• Collaborate with the local care team during normal Monday-Friday hours to coordinate seamless transitions for every patient on the schedule.

What You Bring

• Valid California Physical Therapy Assistant license and current eligibility to practice as a CA PTA.
