About the Role
We're looking for a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to support patient care at a skilled nursing facility in Texas. As a travel PTA, you'll work alongside licensed physical therapists to deliver evidence-based rehabilitation services to patients recovering from injury, surgery, or illness. This is a 13-week contract role with a standard 40-hour work week and 8-hour daily shifts.
What You'll Do
- Assist licensed physical therapists in administering therapeutic exercises and treatments to SNF residents
- Help patients regain mobility, strength, and function through structured rehabilitation programs
- Document patient progress and communicate findings to the clinical team
- Maintain safe, clean treatment environments and equipment
- Support discharge planning and patient education efforts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
What We're Looking For
