What You'll Do
- Assist in the implementation of physical therapy treatment plans under supervision
- Lead therapeutic exercises and activities designed to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and overall functional abilities
- Monitor patient progress and communicate findings with the interdisciplinary team
- Document all care provided in accordance with established protocols and regulations
- Collaborate closely with physical therapists, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for older adults
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant who is dedicated to improving the lives of our patients. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
- Licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the United States (nationwide)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in physical therapy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience with geriatric populations preferred but not required
