Position Summary

Cure Healthcare is currently seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for full-time positions at Hilo Medical Center in Hilo, Hawaii. This role requires a current Hawaii license and AHA BLS and ACLS certifications. Additional related certifications are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop treatment plans accordingly.
• Provide therapeutic treatments such as massage, exercise programs, and modalities to help patients recover from injuries or illnesses.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising physician.

Skills & Qualifications

• Hawaii PTA license required.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Additional related certifications preferred.
• Current primary residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility address to qualify for this travel assignment.
