As a Local Contract Operating Room Registered Nurse with Stability Healthcare, you will join the surgical team in Chesapeake, Lawrence County (Huntington, West Virginia area) on a 13-week assignment. This is a full-time, local contract position scheduled for 40 hours each week, working 10-hour day shifts. The role centers on delivering safe, attentive perioperative care to patients before, during, and after their procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to surgical patients throughout the perioperative process in the operating room.
- Prepare the OR, instruments, and supplies to support smooth and sterile procedures.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure positive outcomes.
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changing clinical needs during operations.
- Uphold infection control, safety standards, and documentation requirements across every shift.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure appropriate for practice in the assignment location.
