About the Role
This is a daytime, home-daily driving position with consistent Monday through Friday hours. Drivers start between 6:00 and 7:00 AM and finish between 2:30 and 3:30 PM — no overnights, no weekends. You will work with a mix of equipment including semi-trailers, flatbed units with Moffett capability, and box trucks on established local routes in the Fort Atkinson, WI area.
What You'll Do
- Drive Class A semi-trailers (automatic transmission) and/or Class B box trucks on local delivery routes
- Operate flatbed equipment and Moffett-equipped trailers to safely load, secure, and deliver freight
- Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT standards
- Maintain accurate delivery records and trip documentation on every run
- Represent Pace Drivers professionally when interfacing with customers and site personnel
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety regulations throughout each shift
What We're Looking For
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license
- Hands-on experience operating semi-trailers, box trucks, or flatbed equipment
- Moffett (piggyback forklift) experience is a plus
- Clean motor vehicle record and ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening
- Dependable, safety-first attitude with strong attention to on-time delivery
- Ability to work independently and manage a local route with minimal supervision
Pay & Schedule
- Hourly rate: $26–$30, depending on experience
- Days: Monday through Friday
- Start window: 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM
- End window: 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM
- Route type: Local daytime — home daily, every day
