About the Role

This is a full-time position where you'll serve at the intersection of legal strategy and operational execution. As a Licensing and Legal Operations Associate at Kikoff, you'll work closely with our legal and compliance teams to manage the licensing, regulatory, and operational requirements that keep our business running smoothly and legally compliant. This hands-on role combines legal support, documentation management, and regulatory coordination to fuel our continued growth.

What You'll Do

• Support the preparation, review, and management of licensing applications and regulatory filings across relevant jurisdictions
• Maintain and organize legal documentation, contracts, and compliance records with accuracy and attention to detail
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies, government bodies, and external legal counsel to advance licensing initiatives
• Conduct legal research on regulatory requirements, compliance obligations, and industry best practices in fintech
• Assist in contract drafting, review, and execution under attorney supervision
• Support compliance monitoring and help ensure adherence to applicable financial regulations and licensing terms
• Prepare legal memoranda, summaries, and reports for internal stakeholders
• Track deadlines, manage filing schedules, and coordinate with teams across the company to ensure timely legal submissions

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field; paralegal certification or legal operations experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of financial services regulation, licensing requirements, or compliance frameworks
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
• Meticulous attention to detail and high tolerance for regulatory accuracy
• Proficiency with legal research tools, document management systems, and standard business software
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment alongside lawyers, compliance officers, and business stakeholders
• Proactive problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new regulatory domains
