Licensed Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) – Berryville, VA

LifeStance Health is seeking a Licensed Therapist (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) to join our Berryville, Virginia office. This is a full-time position where you'll provide high-quality mental health care to individuals and families in Clarke County and surrounding communities.

About the Role

We're building a behavioral health practice that puts patients at the center of their care. As a Licensed Therapist on our team, you'll work with clients who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Your role is to deliver evidence-based therapy in a supportive, stigma-free environment—helping people take meaningful steps toward better mental health and wellness.

What You'll Do

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing therapy sessions with diverse client populations
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs and goals
• Apply clinical expertise in modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, family systems work, or other evidence-based approaches
• Document clinical progress and maintain detailed, accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to support integrated care outcomes
• Participate in case consultation and continue professional development within our clinical team

What We're Looking For

• Current, active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Virginia
• Minimum 1–2 years of clinical mental health therapy experience (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to diagnose and treat mental health conditions
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and openness to clinical supervision and feedback
• Ability to work on-site in Berryville, Virginia
