We're seeking a clinically skilled, compassionate LMFT to provide evidence-based therapy and help our patients achieve meaningful mental health transformation through individual, couples, and family services.

About the Role

As an LMFT with LifeStance Health in Smyrna, you'll deliver comprehensive mental health treatment to individuals, couples, and families navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, and behavioral health concerns. Working within our integrated healthcare model, you'll collaborate with our clinical team to address your patients' therapeutic goals through diagnostic precision and personalized treatment planning.

What You'll Do

• Conduct clinical assessments, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with each patient's recovery goals
• Provide evidence-based therapy in individual, couples, and family sessions using therapeutic modalities including systemic, cognitive-behavioral, and experiential approaches
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation and progress notes that support treatment continuity and meet regulatory and compliance standards
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, physicians, and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated, whole-person behavioral health treatment
• Monitor therapeutic progress, measure outcomes, and adjust treatment approaches based on clinical judgment and patient response
• Contribute to a collaborative, supportive clinical environment with your team at our Smyrna office

What We're Looking For

• Active, unrestricted Tennessee license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or related behavioral health field
• Clinical experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families
• Demonstrated competency in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Strong clinical documentation and interpersonal communication skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care delivery
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
