Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist

LifeStance Health is hiring a Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist in Auburn, Androscoggin County to join our team and deliver compassionate, evidence-based mental healthcare to individuals and families in Maine. This is a full-time position where you'll make a direct impact on people's mental health and wellbeing every day.

About the Role

As a Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist with LifeStance Health, you'll provide therapy and counseling services to patients across diverse demographics and presenting concerns. You'll work in an integrated healthcare environment where mental wellness is prioritized alongside physical health, supporting our mission to expand access to quality, affordable behavioral health services throughout the communities we serve.

What You'll Do

• Conduct individual and/or group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic approaches
• Assess client needs, develop treatment plans, and track progress toward clinical goals
• Maintain thorough, timely clinical documentation and medical records
• Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, and care team members to coordinate integrated care
• Build strong therapeutic relationships that support client engagement and outcomes
• Participate in ongoing supervision and professional development opportunities

What We're Looking For

• Valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent in Maine
• Demonstrated experience providing individual or group therapy
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to working with diverse patient populations
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-based healthcare setting
