About the Role
Join Hilltop Elementary School as a dedicated Grade 2 classroom teacher serving as a leave replacement. Working under the general supervision of the school principal, you'll deliver high-quality instruction designed to foster student success in both academic and interpersonal development. This full-time role becomes available on August 26, 2026, and continues for the duration of the leave period. You'll be part of a collaborative teaching team committed to creating an engaging, inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
What You'll Do
- Deliver standards-aligned classroom instruction using district-approved curriculum
- Create and organize daily lesson plans that support diverse learning needs
- Establish a positive, well-managed classroom environment with clear expectations and routines
- Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing feedback to inform instruction
- Communicate regularly with families about student progress, strengths, and areas for growth
- Collaborate with colleagues, special educators, and support staff to meet all learners' needs
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student achievement data

- Valid state certification or eligibility to teach elementary education (Grade 2 or K–6)
