About the Role

Reporting into the Arts & Science Office of Teaching Excellence and Innovation, the Learning Designer partners directly with faculty members and academic administrators to translate research-backed pedagogy into practical classroom and curricular outcomes. This is a full-time, in-person position in New York City focused on advancing the educational mission of departments and degree programs throughout Arts & Science.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside faculty and administrators to design and roll out evidence-based teaching approaches.
  • Coordinate and steward complex curricular projects from concept through implementation.
  • Support the instructional and educational objectives of programs and departments across Arts & Science.
  • Apply learning science principles to improve course design, delivery, and student outcomes.
  • Serve as a collaborative resource within the Office of Teaching Excellence and Innovation.
