About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Graduate Enrollment Operations, the Assistant Director, Graduate Enrollment Operations plays a central part in attracting prospective graduate students and managing the application pipeline at NYU Tandon. This on-site position in Brooklyn blends operational leadership with hands-on coordination across the graduate enrollment and admissions functions, supporting a smooth experience from inquiry through enrollment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day graduate enrollment and admissions operations at NYU Tandon School of Engineering.
• Coordinate general graduate student recruitment efforts and outreach initiatives.
• Manage the processing and review of graduate applications to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist with the hiring, training, and supervision of enrollment operations team members.
• Partner with the Director to strengthen workflows, systems, and service standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in graduate enrollment, admissions, or higher education operations.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage application processing and multiple priorities.
• Experience supporting staff hiring, supervision, or team management is valued.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with prospective students and colleagues.
• Comfort working on-site in Brooklyn within a fast-paced academic environment.
