Role Overview

As Lead Fire Sprinkler Technician, you'll manage the day-to-day service and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems across our Fredericksburg service territory. In this role, you'll balance hands-on technical work with mentoring responsibilities, coordinating with team members, and ensuring every installation and repair meets industry standards. You'll take ownership of complex troubleshooting challenges while building lasting relationships with our commercial and residential clients.

Core Duties

• Service, inspect, test, and repair fire sprinkler systems at commercial and residential properties
• Diagnose system malfunctions and implement effective technical solutions
• Conduct preventive maintenance and system compliance testing
• Manage customer interactions, provide technical guidance, and document work accurately
• Lead field operations and support junior technicians in best practices
• Coordinate scheduling, parts inventory, and project timelines

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a fire sprinkler technician or similar fire protection systems background
• Knowledge of fire safety codes, NFPA standards, and local Virginia regulations
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Physical ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions
• Leadership capability and willingness to mentor team members
