Physical Therapist – Travel Contract

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a Physical Therapist – Travel Contract for a full‑time position based in Chesapeake, Chesapeake City.

About the Role

This travel assignment offers the chance to provide therapeutic care in a variety of clinical settings while exploring a new community. The role is designed for licensed therapists who enjoy adapting to different facilities and delivering consistent, high‑quality patient outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modality applications
• Document patient progress, adjust interventions, and communicate results to the interdisciplinary team
• Maintain current state licensure and comply with facility‑specific policies and documentation standards

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active, unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state of assignment (or eligibility for compact licensure)
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in outpatient or inpatient rehabilitation
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with patients and staff
• Willingness to travel and adapt to varied work environments on a contract basis
