Core Duties

• Complete comprehensive clinical assessments of youth residents to identify strengths, needs, and presenting concerns
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address emotional, behavioral, and social goals
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to residential youth
• Facilitate crisis intervention and de-escalation support when acute situations arise
• Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary staff, families, and external providers to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation that meets professional and regulatory standards
• Monitor progress, adjust interventions as needed, and prepare discharge planning recommendations

Qualifications

• Current New Mexico licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or as a Psychologist
• Master’s degree in social work or doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited program
• Demonstrated competence providing therapy to children or adolescents
• Familiarity with residential or congregate care environments is advantageous
• Strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, and collaborative teamwork
• Ability to document clinical work clearly and maintain professional boundaries
