Language Model Analyst – Fully Remote | Upto $20/hr Part-time

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking a Language Model Analyst for fully remote, part-time contract work. This role is ideal for bilingual professionals in Malaysia who want to contribute to AI research and evaluation from anywhere.

Our client works at the forefront of artificial intelligence, and this position involves assessing and improving large language model outputs through structured analysis and quality evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fact-checking using trusted public sources and external verification tools
• Generate high-quality human evaluation data by identifying response strengths, improvement areas, and factual inaccuracies
• Assess reasoning quality, clarity, tone, and completeness of model-generated responses
• Ensure outputs align with expected conversational behavior and system guidelines
• Compare multiple outputs and make fine-grained qualitative judgments

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in any field
• Native speaker proficiency in Tamil
• Excellent writing skills in English
• Significant hands-on experience using large language models
• Strong attention to detail and analytical rigor
• Background or experience in domains requiring structured analytical thinking (research, policy, analytics, linguistics, engineering, or similar)

Preferred:

• Prior experience with RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback), model evaluation, or data annotation
• Experience writing or editing high-quality written content
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate and compare outputs with nuanced judgment
