As a Laboratory Sciences Professional (Entry–Senior Level) with University of Colorado, you'll be at the heart of our Division of Pulmonary, Asthma, & Critical Care Medicine research operations. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to laboratory research focused on understanding the intricate relationships between metabolic systems and human health. Whether you're starting your scientific career or bringing years of research experience, this role provides meaningful work in an academic medical research environment where your contributions directly support physician-scientists and advance patient-focused discovery.

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and organize laboratory samples and materials following established protocols
• Conduct technical procedures including sample processing, analysis, and data collection
• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment
• Document experimental results, findings, and laboratory activities with precision
• Collaborate with research faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students
• Maintain laboratory safety standards and ensure compliance with institutional policies
• Support the organization and execution of research projects from initiation through completion

Who We're Looking For

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, life sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Demonstrated experience working in a laboratory environment or research setting
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate record-keeping
• Proficiency with standard laboratory equipment and safety practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities within a multidisciplinary research team
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to evolving research priorities
