Apartment Manager

Campus Apartments, LLC is recruiting a full-time Apartment Manager for our residential community in Washington, D.C., US, serving the Howard University area. We're looking for a dedicated property professional to lead day-to-day operations and ensure resident satisfaction at this premier student housing location.

Position Summary

As an Apartment Manager, you'll oversee the complete operational management of our apartment community in Washington, D.C. Your role is central to maintaining our property's standards, managing resident relationships, and executing the strategic vision that has guided Campus Apartments, LLC for more than six decades. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to make a direct impact on the residential experience of our student community.

Core Duties

• Direct daily property operations, including lease administration, rent collection, and resident relations
• Manage maintenance coordination and ensure timely response to repair and service requests
• Oversee lease renewals, move-ins, move-outs, and occupancy tracking
• Enforce community policies and maintain a safe, welcoming residential environment
• Handle administrative tasks, record-keeping, and compliance documentation
• Coordinate with headquarters and maintenance staff to optimize property performance
• Address resident concerns and resolve conflicts professionally and promptly

Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in residential property management or student housing is preferred
• Strong organizational and written communication abilities with multitasking capability
• Proficiency in property management systems and Microsoft Office
• Customer service excellence and proven conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Professional presence and commitment to community engagement
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
