Junior Staff Accountant

Join Data-Mail, Inc. as a Junior Staff Accountant in Newington, Hartford County, Connecticut. This is a full-time, in-person accounting position where you'll apply your expertise to deliver accurate financial reporting and maintain essential internal controls for our organization.

About the Role

As a Junior Staff Accountant at Data-Mail, Inc., you'll contribute directly to the accounting function by applying established accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive financial reports. You'll help ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements while supporting the company's accounting control procedures and compliance requirements.

What You'll Do

• Analyze financial transactions and data in accordance with accounting principles and procedures
• Prepare and review financial reports, statements, and supporting schedules
• Support the implementation and maintenance of internal accounting controls
• Perform account reconciliations and general ledger analysis
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Work collaboratively with the accounting team to meet reporting deadlines

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Solid foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency with accounting software and Excel
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Schedule and Location

This role is based in our Newington office, with a full-time schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This is an in-person position; we do not offer remote or hybrid arrangements.
