We're seeking a motivated and collaborative attorney to develop specialized expertise while serving states, local governments, transit agencies, and other public sector clients in a firm that operates outside the Big Law model.
About the Role
This full-time position offers the opportunity to build deep knowledge in transportation and infrastructure law while working with clients that directly shape America's public infrastructure. Rather than the traditional Big Law experience, you'll work in a collegial environment where creative problem-solving and genuine collaboration are central to how we serve states, local governments, airports, transit agencies, non-profit organizations, and Native American tribes across the country.
What You'll Do
- Advise public sector clients on transportation law and infrastructure matters
- Conduct legal research and analysis on complex transportation and infrastructure issues
- Draft legal documents including contracts, memoranda, motions, and litigation materials
- Support senior attorneys in client meetings and case strategy development
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to a collegial practice environment
- Develop expertise in federal and state transportation law and infrastructure regulation
What We're Looking For
- Juris Doctor degree with bar admission (or pending admission)
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Interest in transportation law, infrastructure, or public sector legal practice
- Collaborative approach to work and team dynamics
- Ability to manage multiple matters with attention to detail
- Genuine commitment to professional development and learning
