Role Overview

Redpath Mining, a premier full-service global underground mining contractor with projects throughout Australia (nationwide) (nationwide) and across the globe, is seeking a Jumbo Operator for its BERT Project in Cloncurry. This role will be based at the project site, requiring a commitment to safety, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Operate jumbos to ensure efficient drilling operations on the mine site
• Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular inspection and servicing
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Participate in shift handovers, providing accurate information about machine performance and maintenance needs
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Jumbo Operator or similar role within the mining industry
• Demonstrated ability to operate jumbos safely and efficiently
• Strong understanding of safety protocols in a mining environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• A valid driver's license for operating heavy machinery and vehicles on-site
