Role Overview

The Project Manager, Sports role at BCD Travel involves managing client relationships and overseeing accommodation, travel, and transfer arrangements. This is a full-time, temporary position based in Florence, Italy, with the option to work from home most of the time. You will be required to visit the office for team meetings and trainings twice monthly.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Owning and managing client relationships
• Handling hotel contracting, air and rail ticketing, individual and group stays, catering services, and transfers
• Supporting charter flight management and visa paperwork
• Collaborating with the team to ensure high-quality standards and precise work

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience in organizing meetings and events
• Confident handling of Microsoft Office products
• Service orientation, strong communication skills, and a friendly demeanor
• Process-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused working style
• Precise work and high-quality standards
• Commitment, flexibility, and willingness to learn in all areas
• Aptitude for teamwork
• Good knowledge of GDS Amadeus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Reliable with the ability to build relationships
• Availability for business trips if necessary due to events or client-related projects
