About the Role

The IT/AV Support Coordinator role at Vi Living involves providing technical support for residents and staff using computer hardware and software. This position supports community-based technologies such as A/V systems within the building. Responsibilities include serving as a primary point of contact for resident tech assistance, setting up, training, and troubleshooting personal devices like smartphones, tablets/iPads, computers, home Wi-Fi, and voice assistant devices. The coordinator also educates residents on technology applications and platforms including email, Touchtown, work order requests, reservations, virtual communication, cyber security, and more.

Tasks involve preparing, scheduling, and conducting resident technology education sessions both in-person and virtually. Managing other resident tech support resources as needed is part of the job. Capturing data metrics on usage and satisfaction to assess the effectiveness of support services is also a key responsibility.

Your Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for residents seeking technical assistance on a scheduled basis
• Maintain hours of operations and schedule
• Assist with setup, training, and troubleshooting personal devices including smart phones, tablets/iPads, computers, home Wi-Fi, and voice assistant devices
• Provide education, training, and support on technology applications and platforms such as email, Touchtown, work order requests, reservations, virtual communication, cyber security, etc.
• Prepare, schedule, and conduct resident technology education, training, webinars, and seminars in both in-person and virtual settings
• Manage and coordinate other resident technology support resources as needed
• Capture various data metrics including usage and satisfaction to determine effectiveness of scheduling and responding to resident technology support requests
