About the Role
This locum tenens placement provides essential medical coverage in an outpatient clinic environment. You'll work a traditional Monday through Friday schedule, 8 AM to 5 PM, managing a patient census of 10–12 visits daily. The position focuses on comprehensive internal medicine care for an established patient population, with no surgical procedures required. You'll have 24-hour access to your assigned Weatherby Healthcare consultant for guidance and support throughout your assignment.
What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive internal medicine care to patients in an outpatient setting
- Manage chronic disease, acute conditions, and preventive health services
- Document patient encounters and track time through the secure online provider portal
- Collaborate with clinical staff to maintain efficient clinic operations
