About the Role
As an Intellectual Property Litigation Attorney at Beusse Sanks, PLLC, you'll play a central role in representing clients in high-stakes IP disputes. This is a hands-on position where you'll manage cases from inception through resolution, working directly with clients to understand their business objectives and develop winning litigation strategies.
What You'll Do
- Handle all phases of intellectual property litigation in federal court, including case strategy, discovery, and trial preparation
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other court filings to advance client interests
- Represent clients in depositions and court proceedings
- Counsel clients on IP infringement matters, licensing disputes, trade secret misappropriation, trademark conflicts, and patent disputes
- Negotiate settlement agreements and licensing arrangements
- Collaborate with clients and team members to achieve case objectives
What We're Looking For
- Active license to practice law in Florida
- Demonstrated experience litigating intellectual property matters in federal court
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
- Self-motivated professional with the drive to contribute to a growing firm
- Familiarity with intellectual property law across trademarks, patents, copyrights, and trade secrets
