About the Role

You'll oversee a high-volume pre-litigation department, directing all aspects of case intake, investigation, and case management preparation. With established operational infrastructure and steady case flow, you'll focus on strategic leadership rather than starting from scratch. This role offers genuine authority to refine processes, set quality standards, and mentor your team.

What You'll Do

  • Direct the pre-litigation intake and case management function for a busy plaintiff-side personal injury practice
  • Supervise and develop Case Managers and Legal Assistants, setting workflows and performance expectations
  • Oversee case file development, ensure compliance with firm standards, and manage case progression timelines
  • Evaluate client matters, conduct initial risk assessment, and coordinate with litigation attorneys
  • Build and refine departmental procedures to improve efficiency and case outcomes
  • Manage departmental budget and resource allocation as needed
