Inbound Drayage Mgmt. Coordinator

SBT Global, Inc. is seeking an Inbound Drayage Management Coordinator to join its supply chain team in Irvine, California. This contract position offers the opportunity to manage critical inbound logistics operations in a dynamic supply chain environment.

The Opportunity

As an Inbound Drayage Management Coordinator at SBT Global, Inc., you'll oversee day-to-day drayage operations and manage the movement of freight to and from ports, warehouses, and distribution centers in the Irvine area and surrounding Southern California region. You'll coordinate with carriers, manage schedules, and ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance standards.

Core Duties

• Coordinate inbound drayage shipments and manage transportation schedules for freight movement
• Communicate with carrier partners, warehouses, and vendors to ensure on-time delivery and service quality
• Track shipments and maintain accurate records of all drayage operations and movements
• Resolve delivery issues and coordinate solutions to prevent supply chain disruptions
• Monitor carrier performance and manage documentation for compliance and reporting
• Optimize drayage routes and coordinate with logistics partners to enhance operational efficiency

Requirements

• Experience in inbound logistics, drayage management, or supply chain coordination
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills with carriers, warehouse staff, and internal stakeholders
• Proficiency with logistics software and transportation management systems
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate shipping and delivery records
• Problem-solving ability and flexibility in a fast-paced supply chain environment
