In-Office Paralegal

Join gpac as a full-time In-Office Paralegal based in Cedar Hammock, Manatee County. We're seeking an experienced paralegal to support our legal team in real estate transactions, managing critical documentation and delivering exceptional client service throughout the closing process.

Position Summary

As an In-Office Paralegal at gpac, you'll serve as a cornerstone of our real estate closing operations. Working in close partnership with our attorneys, you'll manage transaction files, coordinate documentation, and ensure every detail meets our standards for accuracy and professionalism. This position requires someone who thrives managing multiple concurrent transactions, communicates effectively with clients and external partners, and maintains the highest level of professionalism under deadline pressure.

Core Duties

• Examine and verify title documents to identify any defects, encumbrances, or title issues requiring resolution
• Prepare Closing Disclosure statements and HUD-1 forms in accordance with current lending requirements
• Draft title affidavits and prepare all required closing documentation
• Coordinate and complete transaction paperwork in conjunction with assigned attorneys
• Manage file organization, document tracking, and transaction workflows from initiation through closing
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing status updates and responding to transaction inquiries
• Communicate with title companies, lenders, and other settlement service providers to resolve document issues

Who We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of paralegal experience with demonstrated real estate closing expertise
• Solid understanding of title examination, closing disclosure preparation, and transaction documentation requirements
• Professional demeanor and strong customer service orientation with clients and external contacts
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills in a high-volume environment
• Polished written and verbal communication abilities
• Competence with legal software platforms and standard office productivity tools
