Position Summary
Northern Manhattan Improvement Corporation (NMIC) seeks an experienced Managing Immigration Attorney to oversee our immigration law practice and support. In this role, you will combine direct client representation with team management responsibilities, ensuring high-quality immigration legal services to our diverse community. This position is crucial to NMIC's commitment to providing accessible legal advocacy to immigrant families and individuals across New York City.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage immigration cases and provide direct legal representation to clients
- Lead and supervise immigration law staff and support team members
- Develop case strategies and provide legal counsel on immigration matters
- Represent clients in immigration proceedings and consultations
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in all case work
